D.C. Weddings

Most would find it pretty obvious that Washington D.C. is the heart and soul of politics in the nation. So this makes it a great wedding destination for the history buffs that have a deep admiration of American politics and history. Whether it's having a peaceful wedding ceremony with friends and family under the plentiful Cherry Blossoms, touring the Ford Theater, the White House tours, or standing in the footprints of Martin Luther King Jr. at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C. is a great place to add your wedding to the history of America.

Washington D.C. holds a great many historic churches as well including Baptist, Unitarian, Buddhist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and many more including even gay and lesbian synagogues. If you're thinking about an outdoor wedding, you probably want to shoot for somewhere between the May and October months. The closer to the center of the time frame you can get, the better to take advantage of the warmer weather.
